Built natively for Salesloft

Salesloft fields that keep themselves up to date.

Pulsar Automate keeps the fields your team sorts, filters and reports on current, with no automation rules. Dates like Last Connected and Last Pitched on every person and account. Account fields rolled up from their people, like the latest reply or whether anyone is on a cadence right now. And account values like owner or tier copied onto each of its people.

Filled in from past calls on day one Zero automation rules Included in the £100/month plan
The problem

One automation rule per value. For every field.

Salesloft's rules set a field to a fixed value, so keeping a field in step with real activity, or with another record, turns into a wall of rules that still miss things.

  • Copying an account field to its people takes a rule for every possible value. Admins report 75+ rules for a single field
  • No field says when someone last actually connected, was pitched, or booked
  • Nothing rolls up to the account: not the latest reply, not how many of its people you've reached, not whether anyone there is on a cadence right now
  • Reports and views built on hand-kept dates drift the moment someone forgets
What Automate keeps current
  • Smart Dates on people and accounts, from every call your team logs
  • Account fields rolled up from their people: latest or oldest date, the last edited person's value, the most common, every value, anyone (Y) or how many
  • Cadence flags: Y while someone, or anyone at the account, is on the cadences you pick, undone when they're not
  • Activity counts per account or person: calls, connects, emails sent and replies, over 7 days to a year
  • Any account field copied onto its people: owner, tier, stage, industry or your own custom fields
  • Your existing Salesloft fields, or new ones created for you, with a preview before anything is written
  • Update now when you can't wait for the next run, and one click to retry anything Salesloft turned down
What's inside

Fields Salesloft can't keep up to date on its own

All worked out from data Pulsar already holds for your team, so switching one on doesn't mean reading your whole Salesloft again.

"When did we last actually reach them?"

Smart Dates

Last Connected, Last Pitched and Last Booked come built in. You can add your own for any outcome, disposition or call length. Every team names its outcomes differently, so the built-in dates start from yours and you confirm them before they go live. The same outcomes power Pitched and Booked in Pulsar Insights.

People and accounts

"When did anyone there last reply?"

Roll up from people New

Give each account a value worked out from any field on its people, standard or custom. Take the latest or oldest date, the value of whoever was edited last, the most common value, every value, Y when anyone has it, or how many do. Match only the values you care about, like a stage of Meeting Booked.

Smart Fields · accounts

"Is anyone at this account on a cadence?"

Cadence flags New

Y while a person, or anyone at an account, is on the cadences you pick (or any cadence), and cleared or set to your own "N" when nobody is. Or write the names of the cadences they're on, or how many people are on them. Kept current as people join and leave cadences.

People and accounts

"Which accounts have we really reached?"

Activity counts

People connected with or called, connects, calls, emails sent, people emailed, replies and people who replied, for each account or each person, over the last 7, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days. Numbers drop again as activity ages out, so they're always current.

People and accounts

"Can every person show their account's owner?"

Copy to people

Copy any account field onto each of its people: owner and tier, stage, industry, region, or any custom field. One setting replaces a rule per value. When someone moves account they follow the new one, and a value cleared on the account is cleared from its people.

Smart Fields · people

"Can it write into the picklist we already have?"

Use a field, or create one New

Pick one of your existing Salesloft fields, with its type shown and a warning if it already holds data, or have Pulsar create a new one. Turn values into your own words to match a picklist's choices, and copy the list of choices a new picklist needs straight into Salesloft.

Your fields, your words

"What will it actually write?"

Preview before switch-on New

As you build a Smart Field, a live preview shows how many people or accounts get a value today and what the values are. Start from over a dozen ready-made recipes, and anything Salesloft turns down is shown with a one-click retry.

No surprises

"Will it slow Salesloft down?"

Written in bulk

Only values that changed are sent, as Salesloft bulk jobs, which don't count against your team's API allowance. Even a backlog of tens of thousands is queued with Salesloft within minutes.

Safe alongside live work

"Will it overwrite what reps typed?"

Dates only move forward

A Smart Date that's already later in Salesloft, typed in by hand, is left alone. Accounts get text fields in your team's date format. On people, choose text, or Salesloft date fields so its date filters work. Pulsar warns you before a Smart Field writes over a field your team already uses.

Your format
New · The Smart Field builder

Describe the field. Pulsar works it out.

Three steps, in plain words: what it works out, where it's written, and any fine-tuning. A sentence at the top says exactly what the field will do, and the preview beside it shows what it would write today.

  • "The latest Last replied date across the account's people"
  • "Y while anyone at the account is on Outbound Q4 — cleared when nobody is"
  • "How many of the account's people have Person stage = Meeting Booked"
  • "Each person gets their account's Account tier"

Common uses

Views, reports and plays that finally have the right field

Sort a view by Last Connected Find accounts nobody has reached in 90 days Spot accounts pitched but never booked Flag accounts with anyone on a cadence right now See the latest reply across an account Count Meeting Booked people per account Show the account owner on every person Filter people by their account's tier Report on accounts with three or more people connected Give Rhythm and your reports fields they can trust
How it works

Switch a field on. It's filled in, then kept current.

1

Pick a field

Start from a ready-made Smart Date or one of over a dozen Smart Field recipes, or build your own: what it works out, and which Salesloft field it's written to, existing or new.

Templates included
2

Filled in from what Pulsar already holds

Your calls, people, accounts and who belongs to which account are loaded once when you connect Salesloft. A new field is worked out from that copy, not from a fresh read of Salesloft.

Ready in minutes
3

Kept current on its own

Smart Dates fill in from the last 90 days the moment they're switched on, then move with each new call within minutes. Roll-ups, cadence flags and copies are refreshed through the day as calls come in, people join and leave cadences, and records change. Nothing to run, nothing to maintain.
