Never work a cadence with a missing number again.

Pulsar Enrich fills blank phone and email fields the moment a contact enters a Salesloft cadence — running your own ordered waterfall of providers, on your own keys, and writing the result straight back to the record.

The problem

Missing data quietly stalls every cadence it touches

A contact with no phone number never gets called. A contact with no email silently skips the nurture step. Nobody notices until pipeline is short — and by then it's a reporting problem, not an enrichment one.

  • Reps enrich one contact at a time, in a separate tool, when they remember to
  • Every rep uses a different provider — no shared waterfall, no fallback
  • Re-added contacts get looked up again, spending credits on numbers you already tried
  • Nobody can see which provider resolved a number, or what it cost
1-by-1

is how most teams still enrich — a blank field, a tab switch, a copy-paste, and no record of what was tried.

How it works

Enrichment your reps never have to think about

Three steps. Your own keys. Zero workflow change on the floor.

1

Connect Salesloft, bring your keys

One admin pastes a Salesloft API key. Then add keys for any of the 19 supported providers you already pay for. Every key is envelope-encrypted and only decrypted in memory, at call time — never logged, never displayed again.

BYOK · encrypted
2

Build your waterfalls

Drag providers into order to create named waterfalls — one for phone, one for email — then attach them to any cadence, for every rep or just a few. Enable or disable a step without rebuilding the chain.

Named · ordered · per cadence
3

Contacts enrich themselves

When a contact with a blank field enters a configured cadence, Pulsar runs the waterfall in the background and writes the result to the standard Salesloft field. Reps just see a number they can dial.

Native write-back

Why Pulsar Enrich

Everything a manual lookup can't do

A single provider gives you a hit rate. A waterfall, run automatically on your own keys, gives you a system.

Your keys, your data

Provider credentials are customer-owned and envelope-encrypted from day one. We're the engine, not the data broker — your provider contracts and volume pricing stay yours.

Waterfalls that actually fall through

Provider B automatically covers what provider A missed, and the chain stops at the first hit — so you only spend credits where an earlier step came up empty.

Loop-proof by design

Standard-field checks plus a cooldown ledger stop re-adds, webhook replays and doomed retries from burning credits. A no-match is remembered for 30 days before it's tried again.

Native to Salesloft

Results land in the standard phone and email fields your team already dials from. No Chrome extension, no separate dashboard reps have to remember to open.

Full provenance, on the record

Every enrichment is logged: which provider resolved it, at which waterfall step, what it cost and when. The provider, step, status and date are also written to Salesloft fields, so your own views and reports can use them.

Fills blanks — never clobbers

By default a waterfall only writes to empty fields, so data your reps already trust is never touched. If you want a field refreshed, overwrite is an explicit per-waterfall setting.

Pair it with Pulsar Connect

Know which provider's numbers actually connect

A hit rate tells you a provider returned a number. Pulsar Connect tells you whether your reps got through on it. It measures connect rate, bad-number rate and credits per connect for every provider, split by the waterfall step that found the number.

  • See whether a provider earns its place at step 1, or only works as a fallback
  • Compare Enrich providers with your imported lists, such as Cognism exports
  • Re-order the waterfall, then watch the connect rate move

New · Wrong-number repair

When a number turns out wrong, Enrich finds a better one

With Pulsar Connect, a number your reps log as a wrong number, or one that can't be real, doesn't sit on the record wasting dials. It's cleared from Salesloft with a note saying why, the removed number and the reason are kept in two fields on the person, and your waterfall goes looking for a different one.

  • The provider that found the bad number is skipped on the retry
  • If another provider offers the same wrong number, it's ignored and the waterfall carries on until a different number turns up
  • Use the waterfall that found it, or pick a dedicated repair waterfall, with a fallback for numbers that came from somewhere else
  • Each number is only ever repaired once per person, and Enrich's usual fields record the new find
  • The removed number is kept in its own person field, so a number you paid for is never lost, and the reason sits beside it

New · Credits and control

Every provider's credits on one page, and a pause button

See how much each provider has left before a waterfall runs dry, what each find really costs, and stop the queue the moment you need to.

  • Live balances from 17 providers, read hourly, with how long each will last at your current pace
  • For providers that don't share a balance, “Has credits” or “Out of credits” from their own replies
  • Filter to one waterfall, and see providers you've set up but aren't using kept apart from active ones
  • Clay's average credits per phone and per email find, measured from your own runs, or set your own
  • Pause enrichment instantly, then resume exactly where each person left off, or cancel what's queued

Wrong-number repair also has a fallback now: numbers that didn't come from a waterfall, like imported ones, are repaired by the waterfall you choose.

Beyond phone and email

Any Salesloft field, via your own Clay table

Custom field waterfalls hand a record to a Clay table you own, let Clay's partner network and AI models do the work, and write the answer back to any standard field, custom field, or contact note — gated by your own run-if rules.

Run-if rules

AND/OR logic across any Salesloft field decides who the waterfall runs for.

Map any field

Standard, custom or a contact note. Custom field names sync daily or on demand.

Clay does the work

Whatever your Clay table can reach — partners, AI models — your records can too.

Listens for updates

Late results from Clay still land on the record — no polling, no lost answers.

FAQ

Questions RevOps asks first

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every team gets 30 days free with everything switched on, and no card is needed to start. You land on your free Salesloft health check, which shows where your data is costing conversations and which product fixes each part.
Does Pulsar Enrich overwrite data we already have?
Not by default. Each waterfall's existing-value policy is set to "skip" — it only writes when the target field is blank. You can switch a waterfall to "update" if you deliberately want a field refreshed, but that's an explicit choice, never the default.
What does "bring your own keys" actually mean?
You keep your own accounts with Apollo, Surfe, Cognism, Lusha and the rest, and paste each API key into Pulsar. We call those providers on your behalf, using your credits at your price. We never resell data, pool it across customers, or add a margin on top of what your providers charge.
How are our API keys stored?
Every credential is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM envelope encryption and tagged with the key version that encrypted it, so keys can be rotated without breaking access. A key is decrypted only in memory, only by the process making that call, and never logged or re-displayed. See the security overview for the full picture.
What triggers an enrichment?
Salesloft cadence-membership webhooks. When a person is added to a cadence you've configured (for the reps you've enabled), Pulsar checks whether the target field is blank, whether it's been tried recently, and then runs the waterfall. Nothing happens for cadences you haven't switched on.
Does it work with our Salesloft custom fields?
Yes. Phone and email waterfalls write to standard fields. Custom field waterfalls, powered by your own Clay table, can write to any standard field, any custom field, or a contact note — and use run-if rules across any field to decide who they run for.
Can we see which provider's numbers actually connect?
Yes, with Pulsar Connect, which is included in the same plan. Enrich records the provider and the waterfall step behind every number it finds. Connect then measures connect rate, bad-number rate and credits per connect for each provider and step, next to your imported lists. See Pulsar Connect.
Can we report on enrichment inside Salesloft?
Yes. Alongside the phone or email itself, Enrich writes the provider, the waterfall step, the status and the date to Salesloft custom fields (pulsar_phone_provider, pulsar_phone_step and so on). Missing fields are created for you, and you can use them in Salesloft views and reports.
Who can log in?
One Salesloft admin connects the team once. After that, any active Salesloft Admin at your company can sign in with just their email — we send a one-time link and code. There are no passwords to manage and no separate invite step.
Is there a contract or a per-seat fee?
No. £100 a month, flat, for unlimited reps and cadences, and it covers Pulsar Enrich, Pulsar Connect, Pulsar Import, Pulsar Automate and Pulsar Insights. Annual billing takes 17% off. Cancel whenever you like.
